MEASURING FOR A LATEX HOOD
​
When it comes to finding the right fit for a latex hood, accurate measurements are essential for both comfort and that sleek, second-skin effect. Two key areas to measure are your forehead and neck.
For the forehead - take the circumference halfway between your hairline and your eyebrows - this ensures the hood fits snugly without being too tight across the brow.
For the neck - measure the circumference midway between the base and the top of your neck. Keep the measuring tape comfortably snug but not tight, as latex is designed to stretch slightly for a smooth, contoured fit.
​While each item is made to order, our hood sizing is based on generalised sizing similar to if you were to purchase clothing off the rack. Our hoods are best suited to people with a fuller face. If you have a facial structure, head or nose shape or size which is slightly different from the general population our hoods may not sit as well as shown in the photos.
For ease of dressing, all hoods are designed with a 20 - 25cm rear zip and are crafted from 0.40 - 0.50mm gauge latex.
